WRONG! Wrong wrong wrong!
I have noticed that people who have a true passion for something find ways to learn their passion and put it into action. Let's say you had a passion for intricate quilts. You loved the fabric choices, and patterns that the small pieces artfully sewn together made, and yet had no idea how to do it yourself. You'd pick up a book, or google it, or even go to Youtube and learn, right? Well, you were pursuing your passion, not waiting for a teacher to appear to you. Doesn't happen in reverse, YOU have to take action.
With my mom being here, and me looking at homemaking sites (one of my passions!) I really want to have not only my home but myself in order. I want my thoughts to reflect my passion. I am not looking for perfection, but I AM looking for Godliness.
I want my home to reflect all that I am and all that I want it to be in Jesus' name. I desire to be the homemaker of my dreams.
I'll write more on this later- it's time to start my day and be with the children. But in the meanwhile, find your passion! Find your desire and drive to making your passion happen. Mine- aside from crafting- my passion is to run a home that I would be proud to have anyone enter, particularly my God and show Him that I'm a good steward of the things he's given me. What's yours?
